As long as I feel that I can trust her and do not catch her lying regularly, she has a large degree of freedom to do what she wishes. However, if I lose trust in her, we have a BIG problem that is not easy to solve. Trust takes a long time to build and can be destroyed in an instant. I very rarely lie myself, and only if the consequences of telling the truth would be so severe that it would have serious consequences for me or others I care about. I can say things I don't really mean to avoid hurting someone's feelings, but that is the furthest I am willing to go, as lying goes against my belief that the truth is almost always preferable and you get further with it than by lying about everything. Additionally, you insult people's intelligence by lying directly to them, and you show little respect to the person you are lying to.
