Timing in life is everything!
Retirement is a joy I have time to share. Last year I was lucky enough to visit Vietnam for 5 weeks. Flying into Ho Chi Minh City was an experience! I have rarely seen such a busy airport and the motorbikes both create a memorable first impression. I immediately traveled to Vung Tau the next morning, then the Mekong Delta and spent my final weeks in HCMCity. I had wanted to visit Hanoi and the north but was so comfortable I chose to stay because I was in love with Vietnam by then. I knew I would return as soon as I could and stay longer! Always finding fresh energy in new places and friends. There are so many wonderful places. Being vegetarian/vegan for over a decade shapes the cuisine I enjoy. Vietnam has so much to offer and explore. A hidden coffee shop around a corner or down a quiet alley for shade sounds perfect to me! Perhaps a shop that is simply alongside the busy street that looks both magical and enchanting. I know it is true because I have seen films of one! My plan is to see it in person. There is always so much to be grateful for and appreciate when sitting with coffee and a friend in the moment.
