Seek lifetime mate. I have Business sense. Enjoy arts and science, museums. I read, including literature (all in English language). I am without family & always live alone. I'm used to being without a big family, (raised by single female loving parent, aunt and Godmother, civil servant and then 10 year school teacher) so I like to keep life simple and quiet. I live very reasonable, don't have expensive taste--except sushi. Looking for someone who will move with me as a partner, or plan to meet mutually somewhere and start a better life (It's just not happening here). Syracuse does have a few bright spots: nifty street fairs over the summer, free concerts; too violent and dangerous though, no place to raise a family; we could chill together here though. I'm attracted to Asian cultures and peoples. I am pharmacy technician and enjoy learning Oriental medicines too. (I am in the recertification process.) I am not religious. It's OK if you are. (My former Christianity has a lot of similarities with Buddhism especially.) I'm average looks, thin, lean, keep fit, spent a lot of time outdoors in weather (started out as a foot messenger in Manhattan) beach (yup, there's a beach in The Bronx) & sun too, comfortable couch body. My body's like a well worn baseball glove from my childhood as a street kid, even made the switch from my Bronx NY Yankees to Boston Red Sox. Yes I'd like to go to the game with you sometime, and then poetry, music, and the tea ceremony. Bye, Joe. I was born in 1969--I'm 52.

I am incredibly shy and awkward in new surroundings with new people. But once I become comfortable around the people I am with my true personality will start to shine through. I'm not particularly good at "small talk", but I am happy to have a conversation about anything. I can be silly and have a good sense of humor, but usually you won't see that side of me until I am more comfortable and have come to trust you. I have a good heart but it is soft and tender. I generally prefer small gatherings of people as opposed to large gatherings of people. I love watching movies and going out to eat or cooking at home. I enjoy many hobbies but it seems like I rarely have time to do any of them anymore. I heard the Philippines had the happiest people on earth and so I have started saving and planning for my first real trip out of country there. I'm still trying to determine which cities and places I need to visit while I am there, so if you have any suggestions or recommendations by all means feel free to chime in and let me know what your favorite spots are and why. I am single, never married, though I did get close a time or two. At this point I have not dated in many years and the world and people have changed so much I just don't really know how to do it anymore. So I apologize in advance for being extremely shy and awkward. Making this profile is extremely out of my comfort zone and something new to me. I have never dated online before, but that seems to be the only way to really meet people these days.
