Everything I write here is true and accurate. I'm not trying to be clever or funny or anything else, just direct and factual. But there's more to my personality than this. The photos are not great, and yes they're all jeans and t-shirts. But at least they're original, not enhanced by filters or Photoshop. The dates/places were: 3 x 2022/Turkey, 2021/England, 2017/Cambodia. I was born in England, normally live in Australia, but intermittently lived and worked in E & SE Asia for a total of about 10 years. Right now I'm in Scotland in the UK. But I've set my location here to Australia because I think of it as home. Ideally I'd like to return there with Ms Right, but depending on circumstances that may not be possible, so I'm open-minded. I could travel to or live almost anywhere, including Vietnam. I don't need to work any more, though I may decide to do so. Right now though I have plenty of time. I studied engineering, electronics and computing, have a Bachelor's degree, but could have got higher qualifications if I'd wanted to. Mostly in the past I worked as a consultant systems / software designer / developer, also a little as an English teacher. I'm very honest, sincere, loyal, kind, considerate, polite, friendly, caring, altruistic, deep thinking, borderline intellectual. I will listen as well as talk. If I'm wrong about something I'll change my mind, even if it's difficult (but will need a reason, otherwise my views are worthless). I try to see things as they really are, not as I want them to be, which sometimes gives me an unusual outlook on life. I have no superstitious, spiritual, mystical or religious beliefs and to me it's obvious those things are very harmful to us all, so I have very little tolerance for them. In the past I've had many interests, but right now not so many. However I read a lot, like coffee, tea, bitter beer and red wine, exercise regularly to try to stay slim and fit, used to do many outdoor activities, much prefer nature and quiet to cities and noise. I drink little and usually only socially, hate smoking, vaping, drugs and gambling. I've never married and have no children. That was not the plan and I definitely should not be alone and still single at my age. But that's mostly not my fault, at least I don't think so. Hopefully it's not too late to meet the lady I always thought I could find quite easily, but somehow haven't.

I do enjoy some deeper, intelligent conversation, not so much into small talk, but it's great to ensure there's a healthy touch of fun to help keep the happiness flowing.
